Starting this Saturday, Tinder users can claim the testing kits and they’ll be able to reserve a pair of tests - one for them and one for their match. They’re giving away 1,000 Everlywell COVID Test Home Collection Kits in total, allowing 500 couples to know they’re negative so they can go on a date. And now that some states are lifting COVID safety restrictions, those dates could happen at restaurants and movie theaters.

San Francisco, March 17 : In a bid to help people feel more comfortable in meeting up with matches for real-life dates, Tinder said that it is giving 500 users a pair of free mail-in Covid-19 test kits one for them and one for a Tinder match.
The company announced it s teaming up with health and wellness company Everlywell to give away 1,000 free Everlywell Covid-19 home test kits.
Five hundred Tinder members will soon be able to take their flirt session to the next level by checking their Covid status before venturing out, with convenient mail-in tests for themselves and a match, the company said in a statement.
Dating and starting a healthy relationship amid a pandemic can be extremely difficult because of social distancing and other COVID-19 restrictions. Luckily, Tinder has found a way to meet your date while abiding by rules.
The dating app is set to hand out 500 users a pair of free mail-in COVID test kits, which includes one for them and one for their Tinder match, according to a The Verge report.
Tinder said this is to help people feel more comfortable meeting up with matches for real-life dates. The company will use COVID-19 tests from medical testing company EverlyWell.
EverlyWell is a company that makes at-home COVID-19 test kits, which usually cost around $109. Individuals taking EverlyWell s tests could get the results online one or two days after they mail the sample of the nasal swab done at home to the lab.

“The pandemic has created no shortage of dating obstacles, but we think our members are pretty optimistic about getting back out there; January 3rd Swipe activity hit 3.4 billion, which was one of the busiest days of the entire pandemic,” said Nicole Parlapiano, VP of Marketing for North America at Tinder. “We’re excited to be working with Everlywell to make it easier for our members to go and meet their matches safely.”
