Two women who dated Raymond Lester about a decade ago say he was emotionally and physically abusive. They came forward after Lester was charged in the death of his girlfriend, Nicole Mokeme, 35, last week in Acadia.
The Maine State Police have issued an arrest warrant for Raymond Lester, 35, of Portland charging murder, according to Maine Public Safety spokeswoman Shannon Moss.
