Many parents at Fir Grove Elementary School said they are so excited for their students to be back, especially after struggling through distance learning for the past few months.

ROSEBURG, Ore. Elementary students in Roseburg Public Schools are officially back in the classroom.
District officials said they were able to return pre-kindergarten through fifth grade to in-person learning based on the recent school metrics released by the state.
They said the county only has to be under 350 cases per 100,000 people in order to bring elementary-age students back.
