Today is just the start of a heat wave that dominates the sevenday forecast. The haze that is blanketing the bay area and the smell of smoke. Its everywhere. We have live team coverage. Even at this hour, temperatures at or above 100 degrees. San ramon and concord and upper 90s in many other locations. Its going to get worse. The 24hour temperature change shows most bay area locations from 13 degrees to 22 degrees warmer than they were yesterday. On we go to the heat advisory for much of the day area through tonight. Some of the areas outlined in red is excessive heat warning. Speaking of that, we have a warning for all of the bay area except the coast from thursday through monday.
