Princess Camilla de Bourbon is a picture perfect princess - and the mother of two rising royal It Girls. But she has plenty of scandal in her own history.

We all know family quarrels can get messy. Factor in one too many G&Ts, an unlucky reminder of Auntie Maureen leaving all her money to her cat, and a snide comment about the feta and pumpkin tray bake, and you’ve got the ingredients for a volcanic eruption. But, as F Scott Fitzgerald wrote, the very rich are different from you and me. And so is royalty. Take the juiciest case to hit the Jersey courts for many a long year. This involves an Italian princess, a missing Gauguin painting, a family feud, a Cinecittà starlet and a fortune estimated at more than £200 million.
