Scotland s First Minister will give evidence from 9.30am today, as a Holyrood committee investigates claims there was a malicious and concerted attempt to see Alex Salmond removed from public life. The former First Minister also claims Ms Sturgeon repeatedly broke the ministerial code in her handling of the sexual harassment complaints against him and also misled parliament. She strongly denies both claims.
CONVENORS clashed during Nicola Sturgeon s evidence giving after the Chief Convenor attempted to clarify what her colleague was asking which led to a heated argument.

Scottish columnist Jamie Blackett warned Scotland’s economy would suffer severely as questions surrounding its independent currency have not been addressed properly. Mr Blackett spoke with George Galloway on his Russia Today show and explained Nicola Sturgeon had two options that had a multitude of problems attached to them. The SNP leader could keep the Pound but lose all control over it or adopt a brand new currency which would be extremely weak.
NICOLA STURGEON and the SNP s decision to hold the Scottish Parliamentary election in May 2021 despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has been denounced by a Scottish Conservative councillor.

Tony Miklinski told Express.co.uk that Scotland s First Minister only puts forward the emotional case for Scottish independence but has failed to provide a detailed economic plan. He also predicted that Nicola Sturgeon will walk away from the SNP if she does achieve her independence dream and leave someone else to pick up the pieces.
