Detectives have been told an unknown man used a sledgehammer to force entry to the Nicola Court property about 3.25am on Friday, 18 December while the two victims were asleep inside. The man was accompanied by two other men who were armed with a tomahawk and a semi-automatic firearm. Once inside the property the men assaulted a 44-year-old man.

They then stole more than $40,000 worth of property along with the victim’s grey Audi sedan, bearing registration AWH013, before driving away.
