Norway has already become a veritable paradise for electric cars, a real and living example for the rest of the world. The Nordic country is the market with the largest share of EVs worldwide, a fact mainly due to the firm support of the authorities for this type of vehicle, which for years has benefited from a significant tax exemption as compared to thermal models.
According to a report by the International Council for Clean Transportation (ICCT), there are two brands that are clearly leading the way in implementing electric car mobility at a global level: Tesla and BYD; while on the other hand Japanese groups Toyota, Honda and Suzuki are lagging far behind the rest.
Elon Musk admitted that he will intensify his interest and his commitment to Europe, after the meeting held in France with its president, Emmanuel Macron; the Tesla CEO gave important clues about his future intentions in that country.
