THE Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Rose Troughton has become a patron of the Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service. She said: “I’ve been aware of their terrific work for many years and I am delighted and honoured to become a patron. “During the pandemic, domestic abuse support services have been needed more than ever. I’m especially keen to lend my support in raising awareness and helping male as well as female victims of domestic abuse, and this is an area in which I know SDASS are working hard.” Chair of the charity s board of trustees Nicky Alberry said: “We are all so pleased that Sarah Troughton has agreed to become one of our patrons. She has always taken a keen interest in our work and her passion and determination will be a great help for us going forward.
