Ste. Genevieve County resident Paul Haug, and his son-in-law Nick Werner will be showing off an old-school fire truck this coming Saturday.
The first-ever true “Touch A Truck” event will take place beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the River Rapids Waterpark parking lot.
The vehicle is an American LaFrance brand pumper from 1928. That’s right, the vehicle is 93 years young.
“We’ve shown it Ste. Genevieve parades, the county fair, and the Valle Catholic Homecoming parade,” Haug said.
Macy Shuh, the most recent Valle Catholic High School Homecoming Queen, rode in the truck last fall.
