Not to sound contradictory, but the majority of kart racers are kid-friendly. The odd couple though – such as South Park Rally and the unlockable one for Mortal Kombat: Armageddon – definitely are not suitable. And one with a huge dinosaur skulking around the track attempting to eat you may not sound like one either, but for those that do not know, it is based on a kids cartoon. So, we’re all safe here. The Teton County Planning and Zoning Commission took its first step in the process of updating the county land development code by hearing four hours of mostly negative public comment about the draft code on May 18.Â
The Teton High School auditorium, which holds 750 people, was around a third full, and another hundred or so spectators participated via Zoom. Untold more attempted to listen to the audio streamed on the county website, but the hybrid nature of the meeting and equipment challenges made it difficult to understand the proceedings. Â
The land development code is a legal framework that governs all future land use proposals in the county (not within the cities) according to the county s comprehensive plan. A steering committee composed of a county commissioner, two former P&Z commissioners, and planning staff has been working for almost two years with consulting firm Logan Simpson to rewrite the existing code, which is decades old.Â
UK publisher Outright Games has unveiled a new mobile division, as well as six new hires across various executive positions.
The firm, which publishes licensed games for kids based on popular IPs, aims to bring its roster of games to smartphones and tablets.
Outright Games has appointed Jon Bishop as head of mobile games to lead the new division. Bishop has held management roles at PayPal, Funding Circle and Code Platform, and will be responsible for the publisher s output on mobile.
The company has also named Adam Whittaker as its new chief financial officer. Prior to this, Whittaker spent 11 years at NaturalMotion games, concluding in a senior leadership role following the company s sale to Zynga.
