A man has been given the go-ahead to sell ice cream from a tricycle in Bourton-on-the-Water. Allan Hymers asked Cotswold District Council for permission to trade from the grass verge near the ford in Clapton Row. Mr Hymers previously held a street trading consent nearby but it was deemed unsuitable during the pandemic as it created a bottleneck of people congregating on a busy footpath. His new plans are to continue selling ice cream but he will no longer be in the road.
