Quoting Ohio State head coach Steve Rohlik
“You have to keep fighting, you have to keep digging and you have to keep clawing away and you have to keep working. That’s the only way to get better. It’s the only thing I know how to do and that’s what we are going to do. We are going to have to keep teaching and keep working at it. We are going to get it through to these guys at one point or another.”

The Fighting Irish are coming off a weekend sweep of then No. 1 Minnesota and have won three of their four games since returning from winter break.
Junior forward Graham Slaggert was named the Big Ten’s First Star of the Week (Jan. 19).
Slaggert and the Irish posted a 3-2 win in game one at Minnesota, with Slaggert assisting on Notre Dame’s first two goals and adding the third period game winner.
It marked a career-best three points for the South Bend, Indiana native who now has a career-best 11 points (4-7-11) on the season.
MINNEAPOLIS Goals by Solag Bakich and Max Ellis and 25 saves from Dylan St. Cyr lifted Notre Dame to a 2-1 win over Minnesota on Saturday night at 3M Arena at Mariucci as the Fighting Irish completed the weekend sweep of the top-ranked Gophers.
“We spent a lot of time on special teams in practice this last week and it showed this weekend,” said Irish head coach Jeff Jackson. “I think both nights goaltending make a big difference in the penalty kill too. The big thing for us is finding a way to play like this at home and finding the same energy and discipline in the way we play.”
