It was amazing day for surf. Tide was perfect but the wind was not. Today would have been an epic day. Epic if the wind had not come up and it made it tough for the surfers and people viewing the contest as well. It made it hard to get into. When you look at the waves guys were taking off on, you would see guys getting stuck in the lip. Thats a function of the wind. Big waves require conditions more manageable. We have added a bump to the water and it makes it tough to get into a wedge. That is what we saw a lot of guys.
