La puesta en escena Desaire de los elevadores, a cargo de la compañía Teatro Chingué, con texto de Alberto Villarreal y dirección de Gerardo Daniel Martínez, la cual ofrece un retrato de la soledad en una sociedad cada vez más distante, ofrecerá temporada del 24 de junio al 1 de agosto en el Teatro El Granero Xavier Rojas del Centro Cultural del Bosque, los jueves y viernes a las 20:00 horas, sábados a las 19:00 y domingos a las 18:00 horas.
En el marco de la campaña #VolverAVerte, la Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), a través de la Coordinación Nacional de Teatro (CNT), presentan esta obra como parte del programa de Dirección Joven, con el cual la CNT recibe proyectos de jóvenes talentos para programarlos en algunos de los espacios tradicionales del Centro Cultural del Bosque.

In honor of Robert H. Jackson’s Pennsylvania birth in February 1892 and the 75th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials, the Robert H. Jackson Center is holding a virtual reading of excerpts from the play, “Nuremberg,” by Richard Norton-Taylor, performed by the Warren Shakespeare Club as an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
The virtual play read is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m.
“Our annual Jackson Day in Warren County event celebrates Jackson’s local roots as well as his international appeal,” said Kristan McMahon, Jackson Center president. “We’re excited to open up this program to wider audiences with a virtual play read and to celebrate these two milestones.”

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released its latest World Economic Outlook report and it highlights just how difficult it will be to forecast business conditions in the year ahead. But it doesn t highlight this in quite as interesting a way as the weird state of the champagne market right now.
So let s start with that. I ll come back to the IMF.

Supermarkets and retailers are running short on stock of bubbly as congestion at the ports continues to wreak havoc. Global hold-ups of cargo ships at ports around the world and lengthy unloading delays at the country s major port have been ongoing since October last year.
Imports of almost all goods have been affected by the hold-up at Ports of Auckland, with champagne the latest item to be hit.
Signs at multiple New World supermarkets and other stores around the country are warning consumers of the Champagne shortage . One sign at New World Mount Albert in Auckland said congestion at the ports was the reason it was out of some lines of Champagne .
