PLYMOUTH – In a web video released Tuesday, Jesse Brown, 43, of Plymouth, announced he would challenge Rep. Bill Keating, D-Bourne, in the 9th Congressional District.
A native of Taunton, Brown served four years in the Marine Corps where he attained the rank of sergeant. Following his honorable discharge in 1999, Brown settled in Plymouth where he began working as a technician constructing cell phone towers. In 2007, Brown co-founded Heidrea Communications, a general contracting firm that specializes in the building and maintenance of wireless communications towers throughout New England and New York. Heidrea has grown to employ 70 Bay Staters.
“America is facing some big challenges,” says Brown in the video. “There is a crisis at the border. Runaway spending. Socialism is on the march, they want to defund the police, and political correctness has run amok. The problem is out-of-touch, career politicians like Bill Keating. It is time for someone new.”
