Home runs dominated the day for the Aces lineup, as the team combined for 5 home runs. Christian Lopes hit a pair of home runs and Seth Beer was a triple short of the cycle to pace the offense. Josh Reddick and Domingo Leyba also contributed home runs. Seth Frankoff allowed 8 hits and 5 runs over 5+ innings, after getting crushed for 4 runs in the 6th. Amarillo struggled to stay in this game. Tommy Henry and Justin Vernia allowed 7 runs in the 2nd and 3rd innings, as both pitchers were plagued by the long ball.
