Companies seeking tax breaks from Columbus have to pay a minimum wage to their employees. That’s risen to $15 an hour from $10 an hour over the years.As city council members discuss whether or not to raise that by $3 to $5 an hour, a local economist says they should, and then tie that minimum to the consumer price index.
