A gender reveal stunt went horribly wrong when a plane meant to fly a banner announcing the expecting parents were having a girl crashed. The expecting parents paid for a plane to carry a banner revealing their baby’s gender as they stood in a boat off the coast of the Nichupte Lagoon in Cancun with family and friends. Guests looked on in amazement as the aircraft, described as a single-engine Cessna 206, performed a series of stunts. “It’s a girl,” one person exclaimed as the plane flew overhead. Moments before the gender reveal took a tragic turn, an onlooker joked, “It’s all good as long as it doesn’t end up crashing into us.”
