FORT KENT, Maine A Fort Kent woman whose SUV struck a utility pole on a residential street Sunday afternoon was charged with texting while driving, police said.
Nichole Jandreau, 34, was driving a 2020 Buick SUV along with two passengers north on Audibert Street after having just turned onto the road from Elm Street at around 4:45 p.m., according to Fort Kent Police Chief Tom Pelletier.
