A second man involved in a weekend confrontation that left a 45-year-old Highland Park man dead in Lake County s Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve is facing criminal charges.
Lake County officials have identified a 45-year-old Highland Park man as the person who died early Saturday morning after a confrontation with two men at the Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve.
A Highland Park man is being held on a $100,000 bond after he was found with a loaded defaced gun after being involved in a confrontation that left a man dead along Lake Michigan near Highland Park.
Lake County Forest Preserve police and the Lake County Major Crime Task Force are investigating the death of a 45-year-old man at the Fort Sheridan forest preserve early Saturday.
