Calabar High will announce the formation of its track club - Legacy Athletics - on Wednesday.
Among the club s major signings are Michael Bentley, Jura Levy, Tyrek Wilson, Anthony Carpenter, Dejour Russell, Crystal Morrison, and Malik James King.
Chairman of Calabar High, Karl Johnson, is also chairman of the new club with school principal Albert Corcho as one of the directors.
Andre Hardware, who is team manager at Calabar High, will be Legacy Athletics president and CEO, while Omar Hawes will be a director, head coach, and technical leader. He will be in charge of the sprints.
Hawes, who is also a sergeant in the Jamaica Constabulary Force, is a certified World Athletics and USATF Level One coach. He will be assisted by Nick Morrison (400m, 400 hurdles), Nicholas Neufville (horizontal jumps and sprints), and Craig Sewell (sprint hurdles and sprints).
