A Basingstoke man has been given a curfew after admitting to public order offences. Samuel Vincent Rolfe, of Cayman Close, admitted to causing harassment, alarm or distress to Gary and Michelle Dickman by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Oakridge on December 19. The Popley resident also admitted returning the following day. Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates Court last week, the 20-year-old was given a four-week curfew, to be monitored by an electronic tag. He must be at his home address between 10pm and 6am on Mondays to Thursdays. Rolfe must also take part in 15 rehabilitation activity days.
A man who was awaiting trial after denying assault has breached his bail conditions.
