Carthage, Ill.- The Hancock County Sheriff's office has made an arrest of a Carthage, Illinois man in connection with the location of a missing juvenile. On Wednesday, August, 17th, 2022, Hancock County Sheriff's Deputies assisted the Quincy Police Department and US Marshall's Service in locating a missing juvenile in Warsaw, Ill. According to a news release, the juvenile had been missing from Quincy, Ill., since May 22nd, 2022. Deputies assisted in interviewing persons alleged to have knowledge of the juvenile's whereabouts and in searching for the missing juvenile in homes in Warsaw. The juvenile was located and returned to their guardians. During the investigation, it was discovered the juvenile had associated and stayed with 20-year-old Nicholas Foster of Warsaw, Ill. Foster was wanted on a Lee County, IA warrant for 3rd-degree sexual abuse. Foster was lodged in the Hancock County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
