Brattin was an Aurora businessman who was involved in founding the Aurora Council of the Navy League and the Aurora-Naperville Rotary Club. This annual award is presented to Fox Valley youth ages 14-19 who, like Brattin, have exhibited qualities of citizenship, service and leadership through activities in school, church or community.
