The Levesque Institute at Niagara University has formed a Niagara Falls Neighborhood Evaluation Committee which will kick off its work by looking into housing market conditions in the midtown area
The Levesque Institute at Niagara University, as part of a coalition of diverse organizations committed to the revitalization of the City of Niagara Falls, has formed a Niagara Falls neighborhood evaluation committee. The committee s first project is a comprehensive data collection that will provide information for a future neighborhood assessment to evaluate housing market conditions in the midtown area of the City of Niagara Falls.
The Niagara Orleans Regional Land Improvement Corp. (NORLIC) - often referred to as the Land Bank - has been awarded a $1.4 million grant by the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corp. and NYS Homes and Community Renewal. NORLIC had submitted an application for the competitive grant program earlier this year.
