Four Niagara Falls residents have taken it upon themselves to bring Christmas cheer to those in need this holiday season.
The group, including Christina Palmeri, Katie Edwards, Kate Molinaro and Joe Crane, started a Facebook group called “Made in the 716” during the COVID-19 pandemic to highlight essential workers as well as give back to our local community. A link to the Facebook page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/madeinthe716.
The group told the Niagara Reporter that they are currently finishing their 1st Annual Stuff the Stocking event which includes donating 50 stockings to the Boys & Girls Club of Niagara Falls. In addition, the group is donating money raised through social media efforts – currently totaling around $500 – for the Niagara Falls Firefighters Toy Fund.
