They can find anybody else in this stadium or go to any kiosk or store to buy from. I appreciate the fans that s standing in line sometimes not all the time to make a purchase, he said.
While Griffin still has regular customers that come to his kiosk, the number has dropped as younger fans move away or start families. Even when this park opened over here in 2000, I still have some older fans come by and say, You still here? Yeah, I m still here. We exchange pleasantries, Griffin said.

Although the pandemic is still dragging on here in Michigan, signs of life are starting to come back in our local economy. That seems like it would be good news for people who were laid off in the early days of the pandemic. But so far, that hasn’t been true for many workers. Michigan as a battleground state took on a new meaning during the 2020 Presidential Election. Each campaign made multiple stops in Michigan with a flurry of back-to-back stops in the days and hours before voters hit the polls. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, voters cast absentee ballots in record numbers; while others waited in line to cast their votes in person on Election Day. The TCF Center gained national attention as Trump supporters gathered outside calling for the vote counting to be stopped until fraud claims could be investigated. Despite multiple attempts to stop the certification process, the Michigan State Board of Canvassers voted to certify the results and granted President-elect Joe Biden the state s 16 electoral votes.
