A Nottinghamshire village community centre is helping support people during coronavirus pandemic
A community centre in Gringley on the Hill is doing everything it can to help people stay safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

With stringent measures and restrictions in place the health and safety team at Gringley on the Hill Community Centre has ensured their building is safe for users during this time, and can now host various services including a weekly Post Office and grocery deliveries, helping its community to stay at home and not travel.
Paul Groves, the health and safety officer for the centre, said: “It’s taken some time to complete the risk assessments and to ensure everything is safe, and then produce procedures for users so spaces are fully sanitised after use, but we’ve satisfactorily completed full assessments, and can confidently invite users into the centre.
