59 community-led organisations have received a 2023 Community Heritage Grant. Recipients include Australian Red Cross Heritage Archives, Woolmers Foundation, Broken Hill Historical Society, Australian Sugar Industry Museum, The Ration Shed Museum, Buda Historic Home & Garden, the Callaway Centre and many others.
Applications are now open for the 2023 Community Heritage Grants (CHG) program. The CHG program offers cash grants of up to $20,000 to community organisations. The grants support organisations to preserve and manage collections that have Australian cultural and historical significance.
57 organisations receive Community Heritage Grants Recipients include Tranby Aboriginal Co-operative Limited, Trafalgar Holden Museum, Queensland Braille Writing Association, Gay And Lesbian Archive of Western Australia, Flinders Palaeontology, Mawson's Huts Foundation, Australian Academy of Science and the Ngurratjuta/Pmara Ntjarra Aboriginal Corporation and many others. These community-led and people-focused organisations from around Australia will receive small grants to support them in their work of preserving significant local collections.

Iltja Ntjarra (Many Hands) is a not-for-profit Art Centre, proudly Aboriginal owned and directed. It is home of the Namatjira watercolour artists. The Art Centre was established by Ngurratjuta/Pmara Ntjarra Aboriginal Corporation in 2004 and incorporated as a separate entity in 2016. The Centre is strongly committed to improving economic participation of Aboriginal people and maintaining cultural heritage. It was established for Western Aranda artists to come together to paint, share and learn new techniques and ideas.
