This is really a potent perfect storm situation as far as a blizzard is concerned. Weve got two low pressure systems, a clipper coming across the great lakes, low pressure along the southeastern coast. Both are moving together. As you can see, theres the cold air coming in right around cleveland. You can see snow there. Lot of heavy rain making its way through the del marva peninsula. Here is what happens. These systems will transfer energy. The clipper will transfer its energy off to that system thats just along shore. As it does, the moisture comes up, the cold air comes in.
