CAMBRIDGE, MD- Life after graduation may look uncertain for many students, as the job market has seen many ups and downs during the last year.
Yet, programs like the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education’s Next Generation Scholars Program want to lend a helping hand. “If they were to think outside of the this one way track that they’ve been focused on, they will realize that there are a lot more opportunities for them than they may have originally thought,” said Chief Strategy Officer for NEXTGen/Next Level’s Nona Carroll.
20 graduated seniors from local high schools gathered Wednesday to get just that, tools to help inspire and lead them towards their futures whether that be college or going into the workforce.
