2 new rehab, assisted-living facilities open in Thibodaux Kezia Setyawan Two new local assisted-living and rehabilitation facilities have opened, expanding their capacity to serve local residents The Thibodaux Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for skilled nursing relocated to a new 59,003-square-foot facility at 150 Percy Brown Road. Also, the Maison Bienvenue Assisted Living Center is a new 36,329-square-foot building completed right next door. The two are affiliated with Nexion Health, which operates 42 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Louisiana, Colorado, Mississippi and Texas. Construction for the campus began July 2019 and cost $18 million. Residents are currently moving from the old Thibodaux Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center while the Assisted Living Center will be available for move-in in January.
