May 2, 2021 NEWTON FALLS Douglas Allen Hanson, 63, of Newton Falls, passed away of natural causes Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Hospice House in Poland. He was born April 2, 1958, in Warren, the third and youngest son of Ruby and Eugene Hanson and lived most of his life in Newton Falls. He graduated from Newton Falls High School with the class of 1976. He was a pipefitter working out of Pipefitters Local Union 188. Doug had an intense love of animals. Prior to his disability, he had been an active member of the Masonic Lodge and a past Worshipful Master. Preceding Doug were his father, Eugene; his mother, Ruby; his stepfather, Joseph Bajnok; his oldest brother, Dennis Hanson; and his sister-in-law, Angela Hanson.
