Kate Heard of Hollister can remember the exact day in 2018 when she first became anxious about her weight. She was 11.  I was in PE and I noticed a pair of my shorts were not fitting as much as usual. They were tight. I kind of felt my stomach, Kate said. I was like, Wait, should that be like that? I was like, Maybe I can fix that. At first, she skipped snacks. Within a matter of weeks, Kate wouldn t eat or drink at all.
