Newport Music Festival plans a summer of genre-defying concerts

PROVIDENCE â Newport Music Festival Executive Director Gillian Friedman Fox, who helped the Dallas Symphony Orchestra bridge the gap between contemporary culture and classical music, is launching a summer of genre-defying shows as the Festival begins its 53rd season.
