The latest orca sighting this week makes it a month they've been hanging around Southern California, keeping the excitement on the water at an all-time high.
A pod of Eastern Tropical Pacific orca whales, otherwise known as killer whales, made a surprise appearance off Point Vincente where onlookers watched as a few orcas hunted a southbound gray whale.
The killer whales were seen actively chasing and biting a dolphin near San Diego, all unfolding within the visible range of California seafarers and tourists.
