HANNAH Moss is the Newbury Vaccination Centre’s Volunteer of the Week and will be a familiar cheery face to the many patients who have visited the hub for their jab, as she is usually to be found greeting them as they enter the building.
The volunteer leads said they nominated Mrs Moss because “she is always outside in her snowsuit on front door reception with a smile and a cheery word”, with another commenting “nothing is too much trouble for her” and “she really goes the extra mile greeting people”.

“I HEARD about the vaccination centre in December and immediately put myself forward to help,” said Roisin Teggart, this week’s Newbury Vaccination Centre’s Volunteer of the Week.
“I don’t have any healthcare specialist experience, but I recognised that this was something I could do for the community in these extraordinary times.”
Mrs Teggart, who lives in Chieveley, had recently taken voluntary redundancy from Bayer and with more free time she was more than happy to step up.

NEWBURY Vaccination Centre volunteer of the week is Aisling Craik, because the team was so impressed with her “fantastic work, putting in a double shift” on Sunday, when the centre was particularly busy.
Anyone who had their vaccine at the racecourse last Sunday will know that there were more than the usual number of patients and fewer hours to get everyone through.
But Mrs Craik was one of the many volunteers that gave up their time to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible, staying on duty for the best part of eight hours.
