Derek Trigg, 70, discovered his Ambassador scooter had been taken from the Fenton Close area of Newark at around 11.40pm on Monday, January 25. The former merchant navy seaman, who lost his wife Tina to an illness last year, had bought the black and grey scooter brand new in 2014 at a cost of £1,095.

Newark and Sherwood welcomes six officers as part of Nottinghamshire Police s Operation Reacher  | Updated: 09:36, 12 December 2020 Newark and Sherwood have welcomed a brand new taskforce of six officers who ve proven their commitment to driving down crime. Since the team came into force at the start of October, they have seized thousands of pounds worth of drugs, arrested or voluntarily interviewed 17 people and taken seven weapons off the streets.
