SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. For its focus on employees, the environment and community outreach, plastic and rubber tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries Inc. has been awarded the coveted B Corp certification.
According to NewAge, the certification from the Berwyn, Pa.-based, non-profit B Lab is a function of the company being a good corporate neighbor, its volunteer work with charitable organizations and waste handling and recycling.
NewAge, founded in 1954, joins 3,800 other B Corps across 74 countries. We re audited for financials and quality, but no one had examined us for how we operate or for our environmental practices, said NewAge CEO Ken Baker. SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. Lawrence Morano and Sean Lynch have been promoted within NewAge Industries Inc.
Morano, who has been with NewAge for six years, is the new director of sales, marketing and product development. Lynch, who has been with NewAge for five years, is the new director of product development for the plastic and silicone tubing manufacturer.
Morano began as a regional sales manager for the company s AdvantaPure line, which he helped strengthen through his experience involving bioprocess products. He was promoted to global sales manager for AdvantaPure and later served as director of sales for both NewAge and AdvantaPure.

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. NewAge Industries Inc., a manufacturer of plastic and rubber tubing, recently celebrated 15 years of employee ownership with the continuance of its Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
The ESOP underscores to employees that their actions and work ethic affect customers, coworkers, families and their futures. In turn, the ESOP rewards long-term employees at retirement, and has allowed some employees to retire early.
New NewAge employees attend classes to learn about the program and the difference between stock and cash accounts, and how that money is distributed to retirees.
