Top New Zealand jockey Jason Waddell has been banned from racing for 10 years for threatening to kill a racing official.
Jason Waddell has received a ten year disqualification for threatening to kill a racing official as well as posting an insulting social media message about another leading racing figure and threatened him during a phone call.
The top NZ jockey received a 22month suspension after failing to comply with New Zealand Racing’s drug-testing procedures which is reported to have sparked the phone call in which he threatened to kill a racing official.
