The trans-Tasman bubble will open on Monday - meaning Kiwis can travel to Australia and back without having to quarantine. In the poll, 31 per cent of people say they would consider going in the next six months - and about half of those were keen to go in the next three months. Air New Zealand says five thousand 200 passengers are expected to travel on the first day of the bubble opening - two thousand 100 will be travelling from New Zealand to Australia.
