She is currently chairwoman of the council’s environment committee. In a statement, Forsyth said she appreciated the support from her council colleagues and staff, but would not be making any public comment. The paid leave is effective from April 11, 2021. Forsyth was part of the Silver Ferns Netball World Championship victories in 1979 and 1987.
