Think of when you get scared. Do you feel your heart thundering in your chest? In 2013, a group of scientists in Finland published a study in the US-based journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Their research mapped out where different emotions were felt on people’s bodies and they found that the results were consistent, even across cultures.
