Gov. Andrew Cuomo officially ended the quarantine requirement for domestic travelers ahead of the Easter holiday.
All travelers must fill out a health form, still monitor symptoms for two weeks and quarantine immediately if any symptoms surface.
The Health Department is still recommending that travelers quarantine, with some medical professionals concerned that more travel could result in more cases. You re in a closed space with a large number of other people who you don t know, you don t know if they ve had the vaccine, you don t know if they ve been careful, says Dr. David Goldberg, an infectious disease specialist with New York Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester.
