A custodian at an elementary school in Westchester County is a hero after saving the life of a choking student.
Angelo Alessandro works as a custodian at George Washington Elementary School in the Lakeland Central School District. My job is to any spill, anything. Clean up the table make sure if the kids need any help, Alessandro said.
On April 20, a third-grade student began choking during lunch.

Some county officials around New York are urging Governor Cuomo to give them more guidance on his decision to extend vaccine eligibility, after Cuomo announced that restaurant workers and even Uber drivers could be added to the list of people who can get the shot.
NEW YORK - Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced that 35 new community-based pop-up COVID-19 vaccination sites will be coming online this week at churches, community centers, public housing complexes, and cultural centers.
The sites are expected to vaccinate over 25,000 people throughout the week, with more sites coming online every week.
