political reporter and host on new york 1, kate dawson, national republican consultant and the south carolina campaign director for governor rick perry, and rachel campos duffy, a national spokesperson. thank you all for being here. thank you. all right. i enjoyed megyn kelly on thursday night a great deal in part because, i mean, this show was part of, i think, many others who in 2012 was like, look, agree or disagree, republican or democrat, fox news, msnbc, could we have a woman s voice represented here? and then it just got ugly. to me what this looks like as a conservative is it shows how new trump is to the conservative movement and there are limits to his understanding of what conservatives are like. so if you re in a debate and you take a shot at rosie o donnell, it s red meat, they love it. they don t like her. megyn kelly is the darling of

veteran and in particular john mccain an apology. he crossed a line today that will offend most everyone that i know. and in my view, the democratic process is going to lead to him hearing what he is so fond of saying, you re fired. let s bring in political anchor for new york 1 news. is this the turning point? is this the beginning of the end of this spike for donald trump? well, it s funny, victor. a lot of commentators are a little too hopeful this is going to somehow cause the collapse of donald trump. as far as i can tell the people who support him are not supporting him because what he says is logical or fair or kind or generous. they re coming from a very different place. and i d be very surprised if
city police are on a work slowdown. arrests, summons, criminal summons are down significantly for a second week in a row. in this particular case these officers appeared to be getting off duty and responded in any event. police say they re going to look into if there is a slowdown and if there is they will act. the shootings come at a tense time in new york. the mayor here bill de blasio accused of fostering an anti-police climate in the city. he s firing back blasting hundreds of cops who turned their backs on him at sunday s funerals for a fallen officer. let s bring back our cnn political commentator and anchor at new york 1 news errol lewis and nick kasale founder of casale associates is here. and i was struck when reading of the two new york city police officers got shot and the mayor
