武漢肺炎（新型冠狀病毒病，COVID-19）Delta變種病毒持續在全球肆虐，法國政府週二表示，建議65歲以上民眾或染疫後有發生重症風險的民眾，可以施打第3劑疫苗以加強保護力，追加疫苗的類型選擇，包含輝瑞（Pfizer）或莫德納（Moderna）。針對武肺變種病毒持續肆虐，法國衛生部上月就曾宣布，將針對500萬名弱勢民眾提供疫苗追加劑，這些人也包含住在養老院的民眾。法國最高衛生委員會（Haute Autorité de Santé，HAS）週二更建議，部分已接種完2劑疫苗的民眾，可再施打追加劑，這些對象包含65歲以上民眾或染疫後有發生重症風險的人，預估加強劑的接種將於10底展開。
