David Zufall Jr. of Fenton was sentenced on Aug. 2 to five years in prison after a jury found him guilty of second-degree assault for shooting another man in a Walgreens’ parking lot during a road-rage incident in May 2020.

Donald W. Pangburn, 43, of House Springs was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 9) in a motorcycle wreck on Hwy. 30 east of New Sugar Creek Road in the Murphy area of unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 2:45 p.m., Pangburn was riding a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west on the highway, and while he was trying to change lanes, the right rear side of the bike struck the left front of a westbound 2008 Nissan Versa driven by Brenda K. Bollinger, 64, of House Springs, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Bollinger.
However, Pangburn was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
