Our Reporter Dimapur, Nov. 4 (EMN): The first Tokhu women’s volleyball trophy 2022 kicked off on Friday at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex (MDSC), DC court junction, Dimapur. The tournament is organised by the Lotha Youth Organisation Dimapur (LYOD) with the theme ‘Gender equality in sports.’ LYOD president Nzanbemo Humtsoe said the central idea behind organising the tournament was to create a platform for unity and gender equality in sports. On the importance of sports, he said sports can bring people together in ways no other activities can.
